Turmeric Flower ( Nanna Ammana Maneyalli bitta huvu)

My mother likes to plant trees and plants, she is more into Ayurveda plants, that's how I have little knowledge about ayurvedic medicinal plants.  This is one among them, guess what? this is Turmeric plant and flower of that plant. it's beautiful  isn't it.  Once the flower grows, they remove plant and take out the turmeric and dry it and make powder of it. My mother replants it and remaining she makes pickle out of it.
Turmeric is a very good medicine in Cancer.

A must read good article from Dr. Hasmukh Adhia

Check for Expiry Date

Today morning I had to fill in the gas(petrol), went to Shell petrol bunk, as usual after filling the petrol went inside to swipe the card, could not control buying snacks from the shell shop and I had picked the Parle chips which was expired for 2 months and still he had 12 packs of same. I do not understand how people buy expiry dated snacks or any other things.  This was not my first experience in this regard, even in medical stores they sell expiry dated medicine, please check before you buy anything from any shops.

We were travelling to Dubare forest and had stopped to buy snacks and cold drings in Kushalnagar, in a hurry  my husband did not check the expiry date and bought Mirinda, after some time I had mirinda and was feeling somewhat different taste then I check the date it was 4 months old which has been expired, when they can fool educated ones what about people who does not know to check before eat or buy.

CHECK EXPIRY DATE BEFORE BUYING ANY EDIBLE OR OTHER THINGS

Eat More Papaya

  • Papaya contains the digestive enzyme papain and therefore valuable for aiding digestion.
  • The unique protein-digesting enzymes; papain and chymopapain have been shown to help lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns in addition to helping in digestion of proteins. The antioxidant nutrients found in papaya, including vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, are also very good at reducing inflammation.
  • The ripe fruit is easily digestible and prevents constipation.
  • Case studies indicate that this food taken alone for two or three days has a highly beneficial tonic effect upon the stomach and intestines.
  • The juice of the papaya aids in relieving infections of the colon and has a tendency to break down pus and mucus reached by the juice.
  • May help prevent cancer in organs and glands with epithelial tissue (ripe papaya). Papaya’s fiber is able to bind to cancer-causing toxins in the colon and keep them away from the healthy colon cells. In addition, papaya’s folate, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and vitamin E have each been associated with a reduced risk of colon cancer
  • Prevents nausea (includes morning sickness and motion sickness)
  • The seeds are antihelmintic, for expelling worms and they are given with honey. Chew and swallow two teaspoonfuls of seeds after each principal meal (three times a day).
  • Papayas may be very helpful for the prevention of atherosclerosis and diabetic heart disease. Papayas are an excellent source of vitamin C as well as a good source of vitamin E and vitamin A (through their concentration of pro-vitamin A carotenoid phytonutrients), three very powerful antioxidants.
  • Papayas are also a good source of fiber, which has been shown to lower high cholesterol levels.

Just Like that

Love Marriage  Arranged Marriage
Resembles procedural programming language. We have some set functions like flirting, going to movies together, making long conversations on phone and then try to fit all functions to the candidate we like. Similar to object oriented programming approach. We first fix the candidate and then try to implement functions on her. The functions are added to supplement the main program. The functions can be added or deleted.
It is a throwaway type of prototype as client requirements rises with time thus it is a dynamic system and difficult to maintain. Requirements are well defined so use of waterfall model is possible
Family system hangs because hardware (called parents) is not responding. Compatible with hardware (Parents).
You are the project leader so u are responsible for implementation and execution of PROJECT- married life. You are a team member under project leader (parents) so they are responsible for successful execution of project Married life.
Client expectations include exciting feature as spouse cooking food, washing clothes etc. All these features are covered in the SRS as required features.
Acceptance test possible you can try before you Buy. Product is sold on an as is where is basis. Product once sold will not be taken back!
Love Marriage is like Windows, beautiful n seductive.... Yet one never knows when it will crash.... Arranged Marriage is like Unix... boring n colorless... still extremely reliable n robust

Take care of your brain

1 Egg
2 Mobiles
65 minutes of connection between mobiles.

Experiment
Initiated the call between the two mobiles and allowed 65 minutes approximately...
During the first 15 minutes nothing happened;
25 minutes later the egg started getting hot;
45 minutes later the egg is hot;
65 minutes later the egg is cooked.

Conclusion:
The immediate radiation of the mobiles has the potential to modify the proteins of the egg. Imagine what it can do with the proteins of your brains when you do long calls.

Please try to reduce long time calls on mobile phones and pass this message to all your friends you care for.

Stress Management

Stress is the "wear and tear" our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment; it has physical and emotional effects on us and can create positive or negative feelings.

One cannot remove stress from its life, so the best way is to manage it effectively: -

1. Become aware of your stressors and your emotional and physical reactions.
q       Notice your distress. Don't ignore it. Don't gloss over your problems.
q       Determine what events distress you. Determine how your body responds to the stress.

2. Recognize what you can change.
q       Can you change your stressors by avoiding or eliminating them completely?
q       Can you reduce their intensity (manage them over a period of time instead of on a daily or weekly basis)?
q       Can you shorten your exposure to stress (take a break, leave the physical premises)?

3. Reduce the intensity of your emotional reactions to stress.
q       The stress reaction is triggered by your perception of danger...physical danger and/or emotional danger. Are you viewing your stressors in exaggerated terms and/or taking a difficult situation and making it a disaster?
Are you expecting to please everyone?

4. Learn to moderate your physical reactions to stress.
q       Slow, deep breathing will bring your heart rate and respiration back to normal.
q       Relaxation techniques can reduce muscle tension. Electronic biofeedback can help you gain voluntary control over such things as muscle tension, heart rate and blood pressure. Medications can also help at times.

5. Build your physical reserves.
q       Exercise - Moderate prolonged rhythmic exercise is best like walking, swimming, cycling jogging etc.

6. Maintain your emotional reserves.
q       Develop some mutually supportive friendships/relationships.
q       Pursue realistic goals, which are meaningful to you, rather than goals others have for you that you do not share.
q       Expect some frustrations, failures, and sorrows.
q       Always be kind and gentle with yourself -- be a friend to yourself

Never break 4 things in your life----TRUST, PROMISE, RELATION & HEART. Because when they break they dont make noise, but pains a lot

HOW TO PUT THE RIGHT PERSON IN THE RIGHT CHAIR?

Does your Company have a problem in recruiting the right person for the
right chair? If yes, try this simple experiment.

Put around 100 bricks in some particular order in a closed room with an
open window. Then send 2-3 candidates into the room and close it from
outside. Leave them alone and come back after 6 hours, and then analyze
the situation:

If they are counting and recounting the number of bricks - PUT THEM IN
ACCOUNTS DEPT.
If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks - PUT THEM IN
ENGINEERING
If they are arranging the bricks in some other order - PUT THEM IN
PLANNING.
If they are throwing the bricks at each other - PUT THEM IN OPERATIONS.

If they are sleeping - PUT THEM IN SECURITY.

If they have broken the bricks into pieces - PUT THEM IN INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY.

If they are staring out of the window - PUT THEM IN THE EXPORT
If they are sitting idle - PUT THEM IN HUMAN RESOURCE DEPT.
If they have thrown the bricks out of the window - PUT THEM IN THE
MATERIALS DEPT.

If they are clinging onto the bricks - PUT THEM IN TREASURY.
If they say they have tried different combinations, yet not a brick has
moved - PUT THEM IN SALES.
If they have already left for the day - PUT THEM IN MARKETING.

AND last but not least....

If they are talking to each other and not a brick has moved - PUT THEM IN

An article from online

Is love powerful enough to lower one's blood pressure, reduce depression and speed the healing of an injury? Well, science says, yes it is!
"Our relationships help us cope with stress, so if we have someone we can turn to for emotional support or advice, that can buffer the negative effects of stress," the Washington Post quoted Julianne Holt-Lunstad, of the Brigham Young University, as saying.
Holt-Lunstad's study found that happily married people have lower blood pressure than unmarried people. But unhappily married people have higher blood pressure than both groups.
So, when it comes to blood pressure, at least, you're probably better off alone than in a troubled marriage.
Loving spouses tend to encourage preventive care, reinforce healthy behaviors such as exercise and flossing, and dissuade unhealthy ones, such as heavy drinking, according to many studies.
Romantic relationships also can provide a sense of meaning and purpose in life that can translate to better self-care and less risk taking, said Holt-Lunstad.
Arthur Aron, a social psychologist at Stony Brook University in New York, does brain scans with fMRI machines of people at various stages of the romantic journey: newly in love, in long-term relationships and recently rejected.
In his studies, Aron has consistently found that feelings of love trigger the brain's dopamine-reward system. Dopamine is a powerful neurotransmitter that affects pleasure and motivation.
Hugging and hand-holding, meanwhile, have been found to release the hormone oxytocin, which lowers the levels of stress hormones in the body, reducing blood pressure, improving mood and increasing tolerance for pain, according to research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
If being in love makes you happy, it may also have another welcome health benefit: fewer colds. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh found that those who tended to experience positive emotions such as happy, pleased and relaxed were more resistant to the common cold than those who felt anxious, hostile or depressed.
A happy marriage may also speed the rate that wounds heal, according to a 2005 study at Ohio State University. It found that a married couple's 30-minute positive, supportive discussion sped up their bodies' ability to recover from an injury by at least one day. (ANI)
