Ambegalu Krishna (Crawling Krishna) Temple
Mallur also known, as Doddamallur is famous for its ancient Sri Aprameya (Vishnu), Sri Rama and Ambegalu Navneetha (crawling Krishna) temples built and expanded by the Chola king Rajendra Simha. It is a village on the banks of river Kanva in Channapatna taluk, Bangalore rural district. Mallur is 60 Kms from Bangalore and 3 Kms from Channapatna. The temple is conveniently situated beside the Bangalore-Mysore highway.
The presiding deity is Lord Sri Aprameya (another name of lord Vishnu), and the idol is carved out of the Saligrama stone found in river Gandaki. The idol is in Abhayahastha posture i.e., his two upper arms are holding the Shanka (conch shell) and Chakra (disc) and the lower arms are holding the Gadha (mace) and Hastha (assuring hands).
The utsava murthy (a small replica of the main idol for taking on a procession in a chariot) is placed in the sandalwood Shukanasika Mantapa (pedestal). The idol of lord Aprameya is beautifully bedecked with jewelry. Sridevi and Bhoodevi idols accompany the lord along with the idol of saint Ramanujacharya.
There is a belief that couples do not have child if pray they will be blessed by lord krishna.

Why can't they develop Road Median
Mesh put for not to occur Accidents
Mesh has been used by villagers to support the grass
On the highways, we see the steel mesh on the two sides of the highways, which has been put so that village people do not cross the lane, to avoid accidents. No one has thought that even they can break this and make their ways. In India, this happens they break it or steal it. No one is there to moniter this. I did capture few snaps where these meshes have been broken and few places they use it for the support to tie Buffalo and put the grass which they feed to the cows and buffalo. Funny na

Who will stop these things?
Picture taken inside the car(Truck with the wodden polls peeping out)
Recently while travelling, driving on the highways, I did observe few Trucks carrying rods and wooden poles. I was shocked to see them peeping out of the trucks may be 3 feet in length. First of all, night driving is very risky for cars and two wheelers. upon that lots of trucks without lights in the back. While driving one cannot see the vehicle traveling in front because of the high voltage lights of other vehicles on the lane. Imagine a person who is in the speed of 80km who will not happen to see the front lorries with these stuff will go and hit and the rods will be inside the car front part where the driver and the other seater will have a danger.

Mail for me from a friend thought will share with you all
Recession, but life goes on...............
Money has no memory. Experience has. You will never know what the total cost of your education was, but for a lifetime you will recall and relive the memories of schools and colleges. Few years from now, you will forget the amount you paid to settle the hospitalization bill, but will ever cherish having saved your mother's life or the life you get to live with the just born. You won't remember the cost of your honeymoon, but to the last breath remember the experiences of the bliss of togetherness. Money has no memory. Experience has.
Good times and bad times, times of prosperity and times of poverty, times when the future looked so secure and times when you didn't know from where the tomorrow will come... life has been in one way or the other a roller-coaster ride for everyone. Beyond all that abundance and beyond all that deprivation, what remains is the memory of experiences. Sometimes the wallet was full... sometimes even the pocket was empty. There was enough and you still had reasons to frown. There wasn't enough and you still had reasons to smile. Today, you can look back with tears of gratitude for all the times you had laughed together, and also look back with a smile at all the times you cried alone. All in all, life filled you with experiences to create a history of your own self, and you alone can remember them all.
The first time you balanced yourself on your cycle without support... The first time she said 'yes' and it was two years since you proposed... The first cry... the first steps... the first word... the first kiss... all of your child... The first gift you bought for your parents and the first gift your daughter gave you... The first award... the first public appreciation... the first stage performance... And the list is endless... Experiences, with timeless memory... No denying that anything that's material cost money, but the fact remains the cost of the experience will be forgotten, but the experience never.
So, what if it's economic recession? Let it be, but let there not be a recession to the quality of your life. You can still take your parents, if not on a pilgrimage, at least to the local temple. You can still play with your children, if not on an international holiday, at least in the local park. It doesn't cost money to lie down or to take a loved one onto your lap. Nice time to train the employees, create leadership availability and be ready for the wonderful times when they arrive. Hey! Aspects like your health, knowledge development and spiritual growth are not economy dependent.
Time will pass... economy will revive... currency will soon be in current... and in all this; I don't want you to look back and realize you did nothing but stayed in gloom. Recession can make you lose out on money. Let it not make you lose out on experiences... If you are not happy with what you have, no matter how much more you have, you will still not be happy.
Make a statement with the way you live your life: How I feel has nothing to do with how much I have.
KEEP SMILING..

Good One
Maybe. . we were supposed to meet the
wrong people before meeting the right
one so that, when we finally meet the
right person, we will know how to be
grateful for that gift.
Maybe . . . it is true that we don't
know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know
what we have been missing until it
arrives.
Maybe . . . the brightest future will
always be based on a forgotten past;
after all, you can't go on
successfully in life until you let go
of your past mistakes, failures and
heartaches.
Maybe . . you should hope for enough
happiness to make you sweet, enough
trials to make you strong, enough
sorrow to keep you human, and enough
hope to make you happy.
Maybe . . . the happiest of people
don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
Maybe .. . . the best kind of friend is
the kind you can sit on a porch and
swing with, never say a word, and then
walk away feeling like it was the best
conversation you've ever had.
Maybe . . . happiness waits for all
those who cry, all those who hurt, all
those who have searched, and all those
who have tried, for only they can
appreciate the importance of all the
people who have touched their lives.
May be . . you should do something nice
for someone every single day, even if
it is simply to leave them alone.
Maybe . . . there are moments in life
when you miss someone -- a parent, a
spouse, a friend, a child -- so much
that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real, so
that once they are around you
appreciate them more.
Maybe … giving someone all your love
is never an assurance that they will
love you back. Don't expect love in
return; just wait for it to grow in
their heart; but, if it doesn't, be
content that it grew in yours.
Maybe .. . . you should dream what you
want to dream; go where you want to
go, be what you want to be, because
you have only one life and one chance
to do all the things you dream of, and
want to do.
"Life is only travelled ONCE; Today’s MOMENT becomes Tomorrow’s MEMORY.
Enjoy every moment, good or bad, because the GIFT of LIFE is LIFE itself…."

A very nice one….
A very nice one….
Thought I share it with you….
Something to think about...
There was a one hour interview on CNBC with Warren Buffet, the second richest man who has donated $31 billion to charity Here are some very interesting aspects of his life:
1. He bought his first share at age 11 and he now regrets that he started too late!
2. He bought a small farm at age 14 with savings from delivering newspapers.
3. He still lives in the same small 3-bedroom house in mid-town Omaha, that he bought after he got married 50 years ago. He says that he has everything he needs in that house. His house does not have a wall or a fence.
4. He drives his own car everywhere and does not have a driver or security people around him.
5. He never travels by private jet, although he owns the world's largest private jet company.
6. His company, Berkshire Hathaway, owns 63 companies. He writes only one letter each year to the CEOs of these companies, giving them goals for the year.
He never holds meetings or calls them on a regular basis. He has given his CEO's only two rules.
Rule number 1: do not lose any of your share holder's money.
Rule number 2: Do not forget rule number 1.
7. He does not socialize with the high society crowd. His past time after he gets home is to make himself some pop corn and watch Television.
8. Bill Gates, the world's richest man met him for the first time only 5 years ago. Bill Gates did not think he had anything in common with Warren Buffet. So he had scheduled his meeting only for half hour. But when Gates met him, the meeting lasted for ten hours and Bill Gates became a devotee of Warren Buffet.
9. Warren Buffet does not carry a cell phone, nor has a computer on his desk.
His advice to young people: "Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and Remember:
A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen them, but do what you feel good.
D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which u feel comfortable.
E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on them who really in need rather.
F. After all it's your life then why gives chance to others to rule our life."

Bannerghatta National Park
We visited Bannerghatta National park only for our kid of 13 months old who is very excited about the Elephant. We have a toy Elephant at home she like it the most. I felt if I take her in front of real Elephant. Finally one Sunday we visited. I remember we visiting Bannerghatta when my sit er-in-law came from US for the kids.
As usual traffic and reached there by 2pm. They are improving it but still they need to look into cleanliness. After getting the tickets we entered the Zoo and thought after this we will go to Safari.
We entered thinking that we will finish seeing other animals and then we will spend more time near the Elephants, sudden weather change and there started rain. I was little upset as we managed to continued when it reduced with an umbrella.
We reached near Elephant. The way I expected our daughter was too exited and was there speaking to Elephants for 20 minutes. As time was running we had to got o the safari for us. Ours was the last trip and we met few of our friends and went with them. we really had a good view of Tigers, Lions, and Leopards.
White tigers were beautiful. Only thing was they were not looking so healthy the way we see in National Geographic and other channels, may be because they are preserved and not in the forests.
Hindi Movie ---Delhi 6
After so many days of planning had an opportunity to watch Delhi-6. I really liked it. It shows our Indian Politics, People etc. Yes, Indians are like the way they have pictured in the movie. Just taking an monkey people create so many stories.
Take it, few years back Ganesha idol drinking milk, don't you guys think even we being educated sometimes believe things without proofs only by words.
They have shown how people change their view upon one particular thing. How two community people be friendly later turn to blame each other for some issue which no one knows who has done it. True communities are made my man. Still we find the differences.
I don't know when In India all these things will end.
Take it, few years back Ganesha idol drinking milk, don't you guys think even we being educated sometimes believe things without proofs only by words.

Anything Worth Doing Is Worth Doing Poorly
This is from one of my friends mail thought will share it with you all
Anything Worth Doing Is Worth Doing Poorly
Many of us miss some of life's best things while saying, "I don't know how to do that. If I were to try, I'd only make a fool of myself."
A fellow I know well tried to water ski - once. He tried to get up on the skis three or four times that day. Every time he tried, he wound up tumbling into the water. The three guys on the lake with him all coached. They also laughed at his frustration. "One last time!" he yelled. Then, when he was yanked into the lake again, he swam over to the boat. He was edgy for the remainder of the day. And he has never tried to water ski again in the 40 or more years since.
Perfectionists settle for nothing short of a first-rate performance from themselves. When they come across something that has to be learned through trial and error, they become intolerant of their limitations. They pile up points in the things they can do with ease and skill, while ignoring - and maybe even putting down - the things they do poorly.
People with this bent of personality can get depressed, for nobody is capable of premier performance in everything. They get so tense they sometimes botch even the things they are good at doing. They can't relax. They remove risks from life by narrowing their interests. They get in safe, comfortable, and boring ruts.
It's liberating for some people to find out they can make mistakes and still survive! If your new dessert flops, the world won't end. If you make a mistake at work, you won't die. If you can't master calculus or statistics, you can still be a good person. If someone hears you sing off-key, you won't become an outcast.
Thank God for mistakes. They let you learn. They mean you are still pushing out your horizons. They give you a chance to grow. They let the rest of us know you are still one of us.
If you were perfect, your life would be terribly dull. Nothing to learn. No more challenges. No relationships with peers. The rest of us would probably be too intimidated to talk to you, play tennis with you, or work alongside you. And you certainly wouldn't need for anyone of our inferior status to care about you.
So don't be paralyzed by your fears. Whatever it is that you want to do and do well likely will be learned through a process that involves some miscues and false starts. But, if it's worth doing at all, it's worth doing poorly at first.
Give it a shot. Take piano lessons. Write a short story. Learn to use a computer. Paint your bedroom. Water ski. Care about someone.
At the cross, God showed us how creative he can be with what looked to all the world to be failure. Why not give him a chance with you?

Recent visit to the film city
On 2nd June I and my friend Rafia decided to visit Innovative Film City. I, my friend, her seven months old baby and my one year old daughter. It is 40 km from Bangalore. It is near Coco kola Factory. We had different ideas of Innovative Film City. But when we entered yes, it was quite different from our thoughts.
In the entrance you find real nice work of Greek statues. For people who love sports like bunjee jumping, roller skates, they will like it here. It was nice experience.
There are theaters also. Where there was Kannada old movies running.
They have combo tickets offers. One needs to choose. Entrance fee is very less. But, inside for everything u need to buy tickets. That’s where the combo offer helps. Even one could buy tickets inside depending on their choice.
You can see Innovative Talkies, Mirror maze, Haunted Mansion, Believe it or not, Amphitheatre, Louis Tussaud's Wax works, Miniature city, Funplex, Mini golf, Cartoon city especially for kids, Dinosaur Park, Fossil Museum, Aqua Kingdom etc.
For food you need not worry, you get everything, from roti to rice and Mc Donald's is also there where we had hot burgers.
Visit in a group you will enjoy.
